One thing that makes 51 Buckingham gate so special are the little extras like a fantastic breakfast and a happy hour with delicious snacks every evening. Big tip: If you can, purchase breakfast with your rate this enables you to have anything on the menu including room service and we thoroughly enjoyed it the entire trip.

Part 2- The Room
One of the best we have experienced in our entire travel experience, and that is saying something with our Rome, NYC and Vegas stays. What put this hotel over-the-top? Service, service, service!
Before we even arrived Alex helped with travel planning, restaurants, and general information. From the moment we walked in the door we were cared for and made to feel special. We consider the room our ‘flat’ in London complete with full kitchen, washer dryer, bedroom, living room and large bathroom. That doesn’t even begin to explain the extras…more to come in part 3.
This was simply an amazing experience from beginning to end. Ludovica ‘Lulu’ was a gracious and charming host. She took care of us all evening and made excellent suggestions. The food was delicious and our entire party highly recommends this Italian restaurant.

We started experiencing the amazing service before we even left home. Several emails containing recommendations for food and activities from the concierge Alex made this the easiest trip I have ever planned. And he was the first person to warmly greet us when we walked into the hotel. I will be sharing details all week but let’s start with breakfast…
Included in our room rate, we were told we could have anything we wanted Including room service. So sleeping late we tried it…and it did not disappoint! I am going to get use to this.
